Charles Braunstein is the CEO and Founder of CB Energy Business Consulting where he applies his decades of industry experience to help business owners grow their business and achieve successful exits through sell-side M&A transactions. Charles leads all aspects of the firm from business consulting advisory to M&A deal sourcing and negotiations. Charles started CB Energy Business Consulting in order to leverage his own personal experiences and provide a higher level of service to business owners through consulting and M&A. Prior to founding CB Energy Business Consulting Charles was the Co-Founder of Dome Tech, an engineering consulting company focused on state-of-the-art energy services. Charles sold the solar energy division of the business to Ted Turner in 2007 (eight months later sold to First Solar) and sold the consulting practice to United Technologies (UTC) soon after. At UTC, Charles led the energy consulting division and spearheaded several nationwide acquisitions that fell under his control. Before Co-Founding Dome Tech, Charles began his career as an engineer in the prestigious management program for Con Edison where he honed his craft in operations and performance that enabled him to start his energy engineering consulting career. Charles is a New Jersey native who enjoys spending his summers on Long Beach Island and enjoying the West Coast of Florida during the wintertime. Charles is a graduate of the State University of New York Maritime College where he earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree. As a Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP), and LEED Certified Charles has extensive qualification and accolades.
