Presenter bio
Jerry Aliberti is the founder of Pro-Accel, a construction employee performance training and operational advisory firm that helps contractors across the country accelerate business growth, strengthen leadership, and build high performing teams. With over 24 years of boots on the ground construction experience, Jerry has managed hundreds of millions of dollars in projects and estimated more than $12 billion in work, holding roles from senior estimator to field supervisor to project manager. Today, through Pro-Accel, he works directly with contractors nationwide and their leadership teams to create structure, accountability, and clarity through role specific workforce performance training, helping them develop stronger estimators, project managers, superintendents, and field engineers who execute at a higher level, win more bids, improve communication, and scale without chaos.

Exit Strategy

Exit Ready, Not Exit Rushed: Preparing Your Construction Company for Maximum Valuation

This session breaks down what actually drives value in a construction company long before a sale or transition ever happens. Attendees will learn the 3 things that have to be true before valuation even matters, profitability that can be proven, backlog that is shown as profitable work, and an owner who is no longer required for daily operations.

The session then goes deeper into each piece. It covers what proof of profitability looks like to a buyer or successor, how bid selection and job level production tracking protect profit, and how operational structure, communication, alignment, and accountability keep a company running without the owner in the room. It closes with a look at org charts and leadership benches as the biggest lever for increasing valuation, along with an honest self assessment framework attendees can use to determine whether their business runs on real structure or on 1 or 2 key people, including the owner.

Attendees will leave with a clear, practical framework for what to start working on years before any transition conversation begins.
