• Mariah Thompson-Carter – Outreach Marketing Coordinator Mariah started her journey with the Texas Comptroller's office in 2022. As the Statewide Procurement Division’s Outreach Marketing Coordinator, she focuses on supporting and educating vendors interested in working with state government. Her role centers on building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors through targeted outreach, educational webinars, industry events, and one-one consultations. She provides guidance on state government rules, procurement processes, and compliance requirements to help vendors successfully engage in the state contracting opportunities. Through strategic engagement and education, she works to expand vendor participation and promote effective partnerships between businesses and state agencies.
