Coach | Business on Purpose

Presenter bio
Chad brings years of experience leading and coaching, both in ministry and on the athletic field. As an Area Director for Young Life and a high school coach in track, soccer, and football, he’s seen firsthand the power of mentorship and the lasting impact of a “coach” mentality. When working with business owners, Chad leans on the same principles that shaped his years of coaching: steady, consistent effort and a focus on the fundamentals. He knows that drilling the basics every day eventually leads to exponential growth. For Chad, building the right foundation is essential—because when challenges come, it’s that foundation that allows leaders and businesses to stand strong. He’s also seen the difference a good coach can make, whether on the field or in business. Watching his own son respond to different coaching styles has reinforced for Chad how vital it is to have a leader with both vision and a plan. Outside of work, Chad loves sports! Whether it’s watching college football, the NFL, MLB, golf, or cheering for Charlotte FC. He and his wife manage a divided household when it comes to college allegiances (Ohio State for him, Clemson for her), and their three kids keep them busy on the soccer field. Chad also works out daily with F3, continuing his passion for teamwork, consistency, and growth. Some of his favorite quotes come from The Man in the Arena, Nolan Ryan’s reminder that adapting is key to success, and even Top Gun: Maverick’s challenge to “the man in the box.

LIVE AI Demo: How Contractor Owners Use AI To Find, Hire, & Retain Talent When "Nobody Wants To Work Anymore"

"Nobody wants to work anymore" has been said for over 100 years — and it has never once been the real problem. The real problem is that contractor owners are trying to grow a culture without a recipe, hiring without a process, and leading without a playbook. In this workshop, you'll learn how to build the cultural ingredients that make people want to work for you — and how AI is now being deployed to find, screen, onboard, and retain the talent your competitors can't keep.
 Learning Objectives:

1.     Understand why culture is not luck, not ping pong tables, and not a generational problem — it is a direct result of the ingredients you intentionally put into your business, and how to start controlling those ingredients immediately.

2.     Build a repeatable, AI-assisted hiring and onboarding process that runs even when you're buried in jobs — so your best candidates don't disappear while you're putting out fires.

3.     Deploy the culture calendar framework to create a predictable, communication-rich environment that makes the next generation of workers not just show up — but stay.

Target audience: Homebuilders, Remodelers, Contractors
