Officer Frisk has 24.5 years of law enforcement experience. He is currently assigned to the Community Services Bureau, where he provides a number of different safety seminars and presentations to businesses, schools, neighborhoods and churches. He is CMPD’s internal expert on active shooter training and has trained over 60,000 civilians in the Charlotte (NC) region. Officer Frisk has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times 2019 Active- Shooter training Prior to working with the CMPD, he attended Edinboro University and received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.
