Presenter bio
Tim Lake is the Centralized Master Bidders List Program Coordinator with the Statewide Procurement Division at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. He began his career as a Customer Service Representative and became the CMBL Program Coordinator in 2016. He continues to assist with customer service and provides training, support, and outreach for the CMBL, which is the master database used by Texas purchasing entities. Tim and his CMBL team strive to assist vendors with their profiles to help them receive potential bid opportunities with the state of Texas.

Doing Business with the State of Texas
This session will include information on the advantages of registering with the Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL) to receive potential bid invitations. It will include how to apply for the CMBL, identify relevant highway districts where products/services are delivered and how to locate and search the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) Commodity Book. This session will also provide an introduction of the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) and the Vendor Performance Tracking System (VPTS).
Target audience: All building and construction professionals.
